About the film
Denmark is a utopia.
As long as you’re born within its borders. “Home sweet (home)” details the journey to Danish citizenship through the complicated tapestry of bureaucracy and never ending phone conversations. While we listen to a young student navigate these processes, this documentary questions the idyllic images of the country that adorn its postcards.
